About HDFC Securities Limited

HDFC Securities began operations in April 2000 as a joint venture between HDFC Limited, Indocean eSecurities Holding Ltd. and HDFC Bank Ltd. It now functions as a wholly owned subsidiary of HDFC Bank, one of India's largest private-sector banks. The company operates as a financial-services intermediary offering broking alongside distribution of mutual funds, fixed deposits, insurance, bonds and other investment products. As the broking and distribution arm of the HDFC Group, it serves a customer base upward of 2.7 million and holds corporate membership of both the BSE and NSE. HDFC Securities runs an extensive branch network — more than 216 branches spread across 159 cities and towns — alongside a digital ecosystem covering online platforms, mobile apps and phone-based trading, giving customers a mix of physical and digital touchpoints for investing.
