Mohan Meakin Limited, incorporated on 2 November 1934, is a longstanding conglomerate in alcoholic beverages — rum, whisky, beer, vodka and gin among them — as well as non-alcoholic products such as apple juice, mineral water and non-fruit vinegar. Widely regarded as a pioneer of India's liquor industry, the company has set up distilleries and breweries across several parts of the country and exports to markets including Germany, Russia, the US, Oman and the UAE. Beyond beverages, Mohan Meakin has diversified over the years into fruit juices, breakfast foods, cold storage, mineral water and a glass factory, broadening its business interests well past its original alcohol-focused roots.
